HITEK window film is a brand of high-performance automotive and residential films that includes products for heat rejection, UV protection, and privacy. Their products use advanced technologies like nano-ceramic infusion for cars and spectrally selective technology for homes. Key offerings include products like Ceramic Ultra for cars, which focuses on heat rejection without blocking signals, and a variety of residential films designed for energy efficiency and protection.

Carbon VS. Ceramic
When it comes to window film, there are two new leading technologies: carbon and ceramic. Both have their own unique benefits and drawbacks, so which one is right for you? In this blog post, we will discuss the pros and cons of both carbon and ceramic window film, so that you can make an informed decision about which tint best suits your needs.
Carbon Film
Carbon window film is an upgrade from traditional dyed and metalized window film, which originated in 1966. Carbon tint consists of a carbon nano-particle infused film layer, which is then bonded to an adhesive backing. Carbon window film has a number of benefits over traditional dyed and metalized window film. It has an increased ability to block out infrared rays, reducing heat and glare. It is able to do this without the signal interference sometimes associated with metalized film. Additionally, carbon window film is durable, scratch resistant, and top lines will last the life of the car.
Ceramic Film
Ceramic window film is a more recent technology, first appearing on the market in 2001. Ceramic window film consists of a thin, ceramic nano-particle-based film. Ceramic window film has many of the same benefits as carbon window film. It blocks out infrared rays reducing heat and glare. Additionally, it is non-metallic, so it will not interfere with electronic signals. Ceramic window film also has increased total solar energy rejection. This provides maximum protection for your vehicle and yourself from heat and sun degradation.
